Frequently
Asked Questions

Can my carport be installed on a concrete slab?

Yes, but it will need footing plates and corner knee braces. We provide these and fitting details are specified in the engineering provided. N.B. – We do not recommend dyna-bolts for fixing to concrete as they can work free over time.  When requesting a quote please tick the concrete slab option.

Can I have a Gable Roof?

Currently we are only supplying skillion (flat) roofed free standing carports.

Does it come with instructions?

The engineering has all the details that you or your builder will need for its construction.

Can I fill in the sides?

The engineering that we provide is for a structure with no side walls or infills. Any additions to the side walls will alter the wind loads to any carport or patio. If these are required to a wall (or part thereof) the relevant engineering can be added at a further cost.
